I hope I have done this correctly because I am excited about the Word of the Day from Merriam Webster. When you open it, there is a podcast with the word. I guess I'll find out tomorrow if I have linked correctly since I should have a new word.
The Poetry 180 if from the Library of Congress. It is 180 poems for high school students, but of course, it can be enjoyed by anyone.

This is really neat! I was trying to add a feed to my blog, but I am doing something wrong. I really like your feed to the Word of the Day and the Poetry 180.
I do like the word for the day. I haven't seen one that I know yet.
Carry on to Week 5 and play around with the Web 2.0 awards list. I spent hours there.
I really like the poetry 180--especially since they were written by high schoolers--right?
What a way to connect with the students. . . 0r we can hope.
